If you wander down a quiet lane in Bowral, bordered with roses and lavender, you’ll find the quiet family candle studio nestled in amongst the garden’s greenery. Here we hand pour and pack every single Sunday Rose & Co. order, under the sleepy supervision of our two poodles Ruben and Lola.
We are Sunday Rose & Co., a boutique family chandlery founded by Cassandra Angelini..with the assistance of daughter Ava Rose…With over 15 years’ experience in fragrance design and deep roots in the Bowral community, we wanted to create a way for candle lovers and interiors enthusiasts to savour a slice of the Southern Highlands in their own homes. Our bespoke Highlands-inspired scent blends do just that.
Every hand blended Sunday Rose & Co candle scent echoes the sweetest flavours of mother nature, and our approach to mixing and pouring has her best interests at heart as well. We exclusively work with 100% natural soy wax, and strive to reduce our environmental impact at every turn, opting for natural materials where possible and proudly championing plastic-free packaging.

Candles made from soy wax are made from a natural wax made from soybeans. Soybeans are very safe and are used as a food source and to make many products, including cosmetics. Using natural wax for candles is nothing new. In the past, people made candles from beeswax or from tallow and fats. Soy is better for your health: Soy burns cleaner and produces as much as 90 percent less soot than paraffin.
